    A converted 1930s Functionalist warehouse in central Stavanger, the Eilert Smith is a small hotel with 12 rooms that manage to feel quietly luxurious without trying too hard. Heated floors, spa bathrooms, and live plants warm up the clean Nordic lines. The building stands out against its neighbors, but what really earns the Michelin Key is RE-NAA, the three-star restaurant downstairs. Book that table before you book the room.
