A Michelin-starred taqueria where there's no room to sit, which seems about right. The counter fits a handful of people standing, the menu fits on a napkin, and the Gaonera taco, thinly sliced beef filet seared with salt and lime on a fresh corn tortilla, is the reason everyone's there. The two house salsas handle the rest. An old-school institution in San Rafael that has exactly one thing to prove, and keeps proving it.
