    A resort hotel sitting on the tip of Palm Jumeirah, with private beach access and a skyline view that makes Dubai look like it was designed as a backdrop. The rooms lean grand, the pools are plentiful, and the spa exists for people who want to pretend the city outside doesn't. Six restaurants cover enough ground that you could avoid leaving the property for days, which may or may not be the point of a Palm Jumeirah holiday.
