    Crystal chandeliers and bold wallpaper inside an 18th-century house in Frederiksberg Gardens make it feel like stumbling into a very well-appointed period drama. This is a Danish restaurant where lunch means classic smørrebrød and the evenings shift to a short à la carte and a seasonal menu. The rooms have genuine plasterwork charm, and the team manages to be enthusiastic without being theatrical about it.
