Granary Square used to be best known, diplomatically speaking, as somewhere to stand after midnight. The bar that now anchors the regenerated piazza at King's Cross leans into the industrial bones of the old granary buildings, keeping exposed brick and high ceilings while the crowd skews young professional and design-school adjacent. Come for cocktails on a warm evening when the fountain square fills up and the whole thing feels implausibly civilized for N1.
