A silk wood counter, a handful of seats, and a Michelin-starred omakase built around Hokkaido-style nigiri, which runs generous and unadorned because the fish asks for nothing more. Chef Hayakawa works through kaiseki-inflected courses before the sushi arrives, rotating the menu weekly by season. The chef's personality fills the room as much as the food does, which in a room this small is saying something.
