    Each floor of this Porto hotel looks like a different designer had a different argument with the last one, and somehow it works. Nano Design pushed the grand heritage building deep into maximalist territory, with bold murals, tapestry walls, and parquet floors that shift pattern room to room. A rooftop pool looks out over the old town, and the wine-led Scarlett restaurant downstairs makes dinner feel deliberate rather than incidental.
