    Floral wallpapers, bold stripes, and geometric prints cover the rooms at this Aliados Avenue hotel, which markets itself as a business address but works just as well for a weekend in Porto. The major sights, decent bars, and good restaurants are all on foot from here. An outdoor pool and terrace soften the workweek feel further, and the in-house bar and restaurant, Ilícito, runs through Portuguese and international dishes when you can't face going back out.
