    Two rooftop bars, one glassed-in and one open-air with Reichstag views, set the tone for this 250-room contemporary hotel near Berlin's Hauptbahnhof. The neighborhood is still finding itself, but the Amano Group has a track record of accelerating that process. Rooms run clean and functional in black, white, and chrome. Request a Spree-facing room, and ask about bike rental before you settle in and get too comfortable watching the river from a chair.
