    A 16th-century mansion on the place de la Pucelle that became a boutique hotel without losing its timbered ceilings or antique woodwork. Bathrooms lean into the same period spirit with intricate tilework, while the modern conveniences politely stay out of the way. The underground spa pool, lit from above through an atrium skylight, is the kind of thing you mention casually when you get home to make everyone jealous.
