    A Victorian facade on Syntagma Square, with Acropolis views from the balconies and a rooftop pool that makes a convincing case for never leaving. This grand old luxury hotel has been hosting heads of state and the occasional rock tour for well over a century, and a top-to-bottom restoration brought every oil painting and piece of antique furniture back to full splendor without tipping into museum overload. The Michelin Guide has awarded it 2 Keys.
