A cobblestone drive lined with Italian cypress leads you past an unassuming gate to a Belle Époque mansion that has nothing to prove and knows it. This independent luxury hotel sits just off the waterfront, outside the SBM conglomerate that runs most of Monaco, which gives it a quietly different atmosphere. Jacques Garcia handled a full renovation, and his preference for rich fabrics, ornate antiques, and marble baths suits the place perfectly. It holds a Forbes Four Star and two Michelin Keys.
