A boutique-ish hotel on Langsuan Road that plays Bangkok's glossy-modern scene against something more considered: interiors that nod to the city a century ago, rendered with an ornate level of detail you don't usually get from a hotel chain. Rooms are generous even at entry level, with roll-top tubs and separate showers standard. The rooftop pool looks out over one of the city's better skylines, and the Speakeasy bar upstairs is considerably grander than the name implies.
