Izakaya Japanese Cuisine
Japanese
A tiny omakase spot in the unhurried Bonfim neighbourhood, where twelve diners at most sit down to a daily-changing chef's menu built around regional fish, much of it sourced from the Matosinhos market. The chef travels to Japan regularly and keeps the cooking purist, with a light contemporary edge. Surrender to whatever is on tonight, because there is no alternative, which turns out to be the whole point.
