    The sail-shaped tower on its own artificial island is basically Dubai's logo, and the hotel inside fully commits to the bit. This is a five-star resort where every suite is a two-floor duplex, butlers are standard issue, and arriving by helicopter feels like a reasonable option. It draws the kind of guests who travel with more luggage than sense, in the best possible way. Worth it if you want to feel absurdly looked after.
