    Sand-toned interiors and natural stone give this Forbes Five Star resort a quieter, more grounded mood than the gilded neighbors it sits among in the Madinat Jumeirah complex. The 430 rooms draw on desert and Gulf palettes without overdoing it, and the property backs it all up with a private beach, a large spa, and dining that actually earns its place on the itinerary rather than just filling square footage.
