    Perched on a forested slope above the Campuhan river valley, this Ubud resort looks out over its own working rice fields, tended by a farming couple whose names the restaurant quietly borrows. Villas and suites have four-poster beds, thatched roofs, and walls that open wide to the jungle canopy. The Wana Jiwa Spa sits on the riverbank as a villa unto itself, open to outside guests too, which is its own kind of hint about the setting.
