A bistro on Saint-Jean that's been around long enough to feel like civic furniture, Le Hobbit runs brunch until two in the afternoon and keeps going through dinner in a pair of warm, well-worn rooms. The eggs Benedict have achieved something close to neighborhood mythology, and the desserts hold their own.
