    A wedge-shaped hotel with Mont Blanc filling every window, Le Morgane is the kind of mountain stay where the design team clearly had strong feelings about egg-shaped wooden chairs and wildflower close-ups. A recent renovation stripped out its former chain-hotel life in favor of cool, spare interiors and an eco-conscious fit-out. After a day on the slopes, the spa and a private terrace are waiting, and the in-house bistro sources from the Chamonix Valley and its neighbors across the border.
