Nine tables inside a restored palazzo near one of Modena's oldest churches make L'Erba del Re feel more like a dinner party than a restaurant. Contemporary paintings on white walls, a Michelin star on the door. The kitchen works two registers at once: a tasting menu rooted in classic Emilian cooking and a second that follows wherever the chef's head is at. Both are available, along with vegetarian and à la carte options.
