L'Escarbille
Modern French
The building was once a station café, which explains the old photos lining the walls of what is now a Michelin-starred restaurant in suburban Meudon. The cooking is classic French with a precise, generous hand, frogs' legs in garlic with watercress velouté being the kind of dish that makes the trip from Paris feel perfectly reasonable. Small-producer wines round things out, and there's a terrace for when the weather cooperates.
