Brick floors, white plaster walls, and wood beams give this Montecito restaurant the feel of a Spanish Colonial courtyard, which turns out to be a fine setting for a globally roaming menu built on local California ingredients. The chef traveled widely before landing here, and the cooking shows it. Reservations fill the dining room fast; the bar takes walk-ins for anyone who planned less carefully.
