Then the kitchen, tucked into a corner, starts sending out terrines and sweetbreads and omelets folded with brie that quietly reframe the whole situation. A Michelin Bib Gourmand, and the kind of neighborhood place where people wander in at breakfast and somehow stay for dinner.
