    A Forbes Five Star hotel that sits right on the Bosphorus, with its own piers so guests can arrive or depart by boat, which is either practical or a little theatrical depending on your mood. The 100 rooms feel more boutique than grand chain, with Ottoman detailing and terraces that look out over the strait. The pine grove and waterfront pool make it easy to forget Istanbul is just outside the gates.
