    A full-service contemporary hotel a short walk from Avenue Montaigne, where the fashion houses run wall to wall, yet the Marignan keeps its head. Rooms are Paris-small but generously kitted: Ex Voto bath products, proper espresso machines, shaving and manicure kits. The decorative touch is light, the bedding is the kind you actually want to sleep in, and nobody has asked an expensive designer to make a statement about anything.
