1. Maru San

    Japanese/Peruvian

A tiny handroll bar from the chef behind Causa, turning out Nikkei-style cones of crackly nori stuffed with Japanese-Peruvian combinations you didn't know you needed. There are barely 25 seats, almost all walk-in, so expect a line and plan to eat fast once you're in. The six-roll set is the move. The ceviches and tiraditos are worth ordering too, because apparently waiting in line made you hungry enough for all of it.

          Best Place Score

The Best Place Score is the score we give to the place you're searching from, based on how cool we think the area around it is. If it seems unreasonably low, we probably just haven't added a representative amount of awards yet.
