An old-school dining room in a listed building just off Bregenz's town hall square, Maurachbund has been around forever and looks the part, with original floorboards and wood-paneled ceilings softened by some thoughtful modern touches. The menu moves between Austrian classics like Wiener schnitzel and Tafelspitz and more international plates, all cooked with enough care that regulars don't seem to agonize much over the choice.
