A thousand original artworks fill the rooms of what looks, from outside, like any other timber chalet at the foot of Mont d'Arbois. The boutique hotel is ski-in, ski-out and built around a heritage building that a revolving cast of artists overhauled, then stocked with a serious wine cellar. Rooms have the beams and mountain views you'd expect, but the fireplace lounge doubles as a cocktail bar and gallery, which keeps things interesting après-ski.
