An izakaya where the meal opens with a hassun platter so you can graze through appetizers while you figure out what you actually want to drink. The kitchen borrows its sensibility from ryotei cuisine, which means little flourishes like sashimi paired with a liver-blended soy sauce, or fried dishes with a perilla pickle tartar. Local sakes from around Japan arrive in small pours to keep pace with the food. The Michelin Guide has given it a Bib Gourmand.
