Mauro Colagreco's sprawling contemporary restaurant on the fifth floor of the Waldorf Astoria organizes itself around the four classical elements, fire, water, earth, and air, each shaping a section of the room's design. The menu swings from ceviches and tiraditos to wood-fired dishes, a global sweep that takes itself seriously without losing its nerve. Ask for something between the Fire and Water sections, which is either very romantic or very on-brand, depending on your mood.
