Two recording studios in a hotel is a flex most cities couldn't pull off, but Berlin takes it in stride. Nhow is a design hotel on the Spree where Karim Rashid's curves and colors run from lobby to guest room, and the building itself cantilevers over the river in a shiny metallic lean. No business beige, no muted tones: the whole place reads like a fever dream in the best industrial-futurist tradition. Guests can have an electric guitar delivered to their room.
