    Across the street from the stone wall of Gyeongbokgung Palace, this fine dining restaurant is technically part of a cultural institute that also houses hanbok and design studios, which tells you everything about the seriousness of the project. The kitchen spends years in old royal recipe books before a dish reaches the table. It holds a Michelin star and a spot on Asia's 50 Best Restaurants, and the chef earned Asia's Best Female Chef in 2026.
