1. Dim sum right on the Alameda marina, which sounds like an odd combo until you're inside a genuinely grand dining room with chandeliers and floor-to-ceiling water views. Staff parade trays of char siu and rolled noodles past your table, but you'll fill out a slip for the rest. The baked goods alone are worth the trip, especially the flaky barbecue pork puffs. Expect big family tables and zero people second-guessing their order.

        Best Place Score

The Best Place Score is the score we give to the place you're searching from, based on how cool we think the area around it is. If it seems unreasonably low, we probably just haven't added a representative amount of awards yet.
