    A converted textile warehouse on a quiet lane off Chapel Street, Peggy's is a dimly lit cocktail bar named after a local landlady legendary for her parties. It sits a solid walk from the busier Manchester bar strips, which keeps the crowd self-selecting and the atmosphere easy. The bones of the old building do a lot of the work, and the drinks keep pace with them.
