The two-story wine tower visible from the door sets the tone: this is a big, glitzy steakhouse on the Chicago riverfront, and it has no interest in being subtle about it. Barrel-vaulted ceilings, chandeliers, and a dry-aging room on display make the priorities clear before you've touched the menu. The thick-cut bacon, flared tableside, arrives as both appetizer and personality statement. Las Vegas would have taken it.
