The checkerboard facade makes the building hard to miss from the street, which is sort of the point. This Accor hotel in the upscale Miraflores district runs 237 rooms, all decorated with geometric murals that lean Bauhaus, and even the entry-level rooms are a generous size. The rooftop pool looks out over the coast and the skyline, and a terrace bar there presumably does well at dusk. Business travelers are catered to, but the leisure side keeps pace.
