    The "Chef's Choice" surprise menu is the move if you trust the kitchen more than your own indecision, which, fair enough. PULS is a restaurant-bar inside a boutique hotel in Cologne's Old Town, with seating at the bar, high tops, and regular tables, plus a terrace when the weather cooperates. The menu mixes bar snacks with shareable and solo plates, and the cocktail list has enough original creations to keep things interesting past dinner.
