Paris's only chateau-hotel is tucked into a leafy corner of the 16th, and it looks exactly like the kind of place where someone old and important once made very serious decisions. Inside, though, it's anything but stuffy: the designer went wild with color and leather and books, the bar feels like a private club, and every room has its own personality. Guests tend to look like people who've stopped needing to explain themselves.
