A no-reservations sushi bar tucked into hilly Noe Valley, where the regulars skip the rolls and go straight for the nigiri. The menu is Japanese with a few Californian detours, and several omakase options keep things interesting, including an all-salmon version for the committed. Arrive early or plan to wait on the sidewalk, which, given the neighborhood, is honestly not the worst problem to have.
