    The rooftop pool on the 43rd floor looks straight at Taipei 101, which is either inspiring or humbling depending on your mood. This is a large, polished luxury hotel in the heart of the business district, with over four hundred rooms done in contemporary style with a Song Dynasty thread running through them. The spa, fitness center, and spread of restaurants and bars make it easy to stay put longer than any meeting agenda requires.
