The chef grew up in Phuket, and the menu reads accordingly: southern Thai cooking, the kind that leans harder on heat and fermented shrimp paste than the tourist-trail dishes most London Thai spots default to. It's a cheerful, colourful room on Caledonian Road that somehow skips the usual temple-screen décor, the staff are genuinely warm, and the house-infused gins keep the atmosphere tilted pleasantly toward festive.
