A walk-up tamale shop on a quiet Roma Sur corner that sells out most mornings before the city has properly woken up. The masa is unusually light, and the roster runs from squash blossom with cheese to pork loin with olives to a sweet fig and cream cheese version that has no business being that good at 8 a.m. A handful of sidewalk tables for those who can't wait, but most people just grab and go, fast.
