Taqueria Los Parados

The name is a spoiler: Los Parados means "the standing ones," and there are no seats, just a counter and a condiment station where you build your own plate of onions, lime, and salsa morita. It's a cheap, fast taquería on Avenida Monterrey, good for a mid-afternoon snack. The chile poblano con queso tacos cost about $2.50 for two, the goat tripe is the specialty, and the arroz con leche is a dessert taquerías rarely bother with.
