    A members'-club-style hotel a short walk from Buckingham Palace, the Guardsman keeps its dining room and bar strictly for residents and their guests, so you'll never compete with a wedding party for your own table. The mottled-brick exterior is sober grey trimmed in gold, and inside, Art Deco slides into something warmer, with neutrals, gem tones, and heated bathroom floors even in the smallest rooms.
