A Southern California pastrami institution, been around forever, finally opened its first outpost outside the state on Rainbow Boulevard, drive-thru included. The move took six years from announcement to first sandwich, which is either very Vegas or very deli. Pastrami dips are the draw, though the pastrami chili cheese fries have their own following. A casual counter spot where nobody is pretending it's anything other than a great pastrami sandwich.

Pastrami dips
“While most customers gravitate toward the Hat’s famous pastrami dips or the overloaded pastrami chili cheese fries, the restaurant also serves a bunch of cold cuts, hot dogs, and burgers.”
