A stately canal house on the Groenerei that opens, through some architectural sleight of hand, onto something closer to a country garden at the back. This small hotel sits right in the center of Bruges and operates at roughly bed-and-breakfast scale, but the bathrooms stock Hermès products and there's a swimming pool, which is not very B&B of it. Quiet in a way that makes the city feel optional.
