A Soviet-era post and telegraph office on Rustaveli Avenue, reimagined by Neri&Hu as a 239-room design hotel with the bones of the original Brutalist structure still showing. The layout borrows from the regional caravanserai tradition, drawing people through public spaces rather than sending them to their rooms, which explains the nine bars and restaurants full of locals who have no intention of checking in.
