    The Rembrandt Suite sits where the Night Watch once hung before it moved across town, which sets the tone for a hotel that has been housing guests since Amsterdam was finding its footing. Rooms run small but bright after recent renovations, and the better ones look out over the Kloveniersburgwal canal. The Dutch breakfast spread and a marble staircase are the charming consolations for skipping the Jacuzzi. The Michelin Guide awarded it 2 Keys.
