Torishige
Yakitori Japanese
An old photo on the first floor shows the original sign from the postwar stall this yakitori spot grew out of, which sets the tone. The name itself is a small history lesson: "tori" once covered pork and chicken both, and "shige" nods to a prime minister. You eat with two bamboo skewers instead of chopsticks. Rare cuts sit alongside the meat-stuffed peppers that have been on every menu since day one. The Michelin Guide awards it a Bib Gourmand.
