Modern French
A buzzy French bistro where the bar seats fill up fast and the kitchen is worth watching from them. The menu is à la carte, the wine list gives you plenty to argue over, and the chef runs the room with a loose-limbed enthusiasm that somehow spreads to everyone in it. French classics show up with the occasional left-field twist, creative enough to be interesting without announcing themselves as such.
